A Non-profit organization, Wipe Away Foundation has supported an accident victim, Mohammed Ali with GHC5,000 at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) to undergo a surgery at the facility.
Mohammed Ali, an accident victim with a spinal chord dislocation, received a donation of 5,000 Ghana cedis (GHC5,000) from the humanitarian foundation led by its Operations Manager, Agrowura Musah Abdul Fatawu.
The money will be used to assist him pay for surgery at TTH.
Ali was overjoyed and expressed his gratitude to the Wipe Away Organization for assisting him, as well as wishing the foundation success in all of their endeavors.
He also urged the public to support Wipe Away Foundation by making monetary and in-kind donations to help them continue their good work.
Agrowura, speaking at a brief ceremony at TTH, stated that the foundation need ongoing assistance from individuals and groups in order to carry out such interventions.
He stated that “we still need your help to get Ali back on his feet entirely” and that “it is something we should all do for humanity,” implying that your usual financial support will be heavily required to save other lives.
