The Brifor Youth Association under the auspices of madam Vivien Ne-ormah Nyoni, has donated an amount of Ghc12,000.00, in support of some 2 needy people who are battling with various conditions that will necessitate very urgent operations in Tamale Teaching Hospital and Wa Regional Hospital respectively.
Mr. Maduoda Felentey was involved in a motorcycle accident, and has a skull depression and terrible eyes issues, according to the doctor.
A total of Ghc18,000 is required to carry out operations at the Tamale Teaching Hospital while little Linda can no longer release faeces through the anus, but only through the stomach which will cost GHC 4,000 to restore the anus to its normal state.
BYA touched by the challenges of these people, solicited for funds from friends and other benevolent individuals from the Brifor fraternity to help correct the defects in these two individuals.
Presenting a cash amount of Ghc4000 and Ghc8000 to Linda and Felentey respectively, madam Vivien Ne-ormah Nyoni expressed gratitude to all individuals who contributed their widows mite in support of the two ailing persons and hence appealed to the general public in both local and diaspora to assist in raising the remaining money to help save the lives of little Linda and Felentey.
Background.
On behalf of two families, Maduoda Felentey from Nuobol in the Savannah Region and Kpierkotey Buorju Linda from Daguortee in the Upper West Region, the National BYA, led by Madam Vivien Ne-ormah Nyoni, is appealing to the general public to come to their aid
Felentey and Linda are battling with various conditions that will necessitate very urgent operations in Tamale Teaching Hospital and Wa Regional Hospital respectively.
Mr. Maduoda Felentey was involved in a motorcycle accident, and has a skull depression and terrible eyes issues, according to the doctor. A total of GH18000 is required to carry out operations at the TTH.
After an initial procedure at KATH, Kumasi, Little Linda can no longer release faeces through the anus, but only through the stomach. According to the family, they have returned to Wa, where they have been given two weeks to complete the second operation, which will cost GH¢4,000 to restore the anus to its normal state. The family, however, is currently bankrupt. They are currently at home in Daguortee seeking for a support.
The two families have called on the National BYA for support. Following further discussions the Association deemed it fit to solicit for external support since we do not have the funds to assist the two families.
No amount is small. Funds can be sent through the number, *0241610188(Daniel Belsitey).* Those who may send through merchant, kindly call to alert or use your name as reference. Receipts shall be surely acknowledged, thank you.
