Upper West Regional Minister Consoles DCE’s Family.

The Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, has consoled the family of the late District Chief Executive of the Wa- West District Assembly, Hon. Edward Laabiir Sabo and assured them that a high-level Government delegation would be represented at his funeral.

The Regional Minister said this while expressing his sympathy to the bereaved family when they called on him at his office to officially announce the burial arrangements to him.

The late Hon. Laabiir was the DCE of Wa West District during the first term of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

According to his family, the sad incident occurred on Friday 9th September 2022 in Kumasi.

They indicated that the funeral of the late Hon. Laabiir will take place on the 7th of October 2022 .

The delegation which was led by Mr. Ankaara Sankara included members of the bereaved family, staff of Wa West District Assembly and some Wa West NPP Constituency Executives.

Later in the day, the Regional Minister together with the delegation visited the residence of the late Hon. Laabiir to commiserate with the widow and other members of the bereaved family.
