The stage is now set for the semi finals contests of this year’s Bolewura, Sarfo Kutuge Feso Science and Maths Quiz on Monday, October 17, 2022.

This is after six schools emerged victorious at their circuits levels of the competition.

The schools are: St. Kizito B JHS ,Bale Methodist JHS, Mankuma R/C JHS all in the Bole District while St.Monica’s JHS, Sawla D/A JHS and Nyange R/CJHS also qualified for the semi- finals from the Sawla- Tuna-Kalba District of the Bole Traditional Area.

The semi-finals contest promises to be an interesting one as schools from the Bole District and Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District will lock horns with one another for the coveted Kutuge Feso award.

The event is staged to place at the Mum and Dad Guest house conference hall with a call to all and sundry to honor the occasion.

The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area as part of measures to improve upon the falling standards of education in the area had since last year instituted measures to salvaging the situation.

One of such laudable measures is the Kutuge Feso Science and Maths Quiz which is organized during the celebration of Damba festival.

The event started last year with only schools in the Bole town but this year he had extended the initiative to cover all schools within his traditional area.

The Paramount Chief has been commended by sons and daughters from the area for implementing such an initiative to re- awaken the interest of Science and Maths among school children.

It is therefore of great essence that all inhabitants of the Bole Traditional Area assist the visionary chief to achieve his goal of improving upon the standard of education within his traditional jurisdiction of ruling.
