A group of NPP Youth in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency of the Savannah Region on Tuesday, 12th January, 2021, through a press release are demanding for the immediate resignation of their Constituency Chairman, Mr Fuseini Mohammed, or get sacked for gross incompetency.

In a press statement dated 12th January, 2021, captioned, “The causes of NPP’s poor performance in the December, 2020 elections”, the NPP Youth in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency accused the party’s constituency chairman of sleeping on the job and hence the abysmal performance of the party in the constituency in the just ended Parliamentary and Presidential elections.

The convener of the group, Mr Abu Kamalden said the group is calling for investigation of the Constituency chairman, Mr. Fuseini Mohammed and other executives including Mr.Jonathan Laamiitey (Constituency Secretary), Mr. Gbolo Thomah (Regional Financial Secretary)and Madam Barkisu Losina (Regional Nasara coordinator) by the National Executive Committee for involving in activities contrary to the ideals of the party.

The group accused Mr. Fuseini Mohammed of financial embezzlement, misappropriation of funds among other ill habits which according to the group amounts to the set back of the party in the just ended December 2020 polls.

The group further accused the Regional financial secretary, Regional Nasara coordinator and the constituency secretary as accomplices to the acts of the Constituency chairman.

Madam Barkisu Losina was accused of aiding members of the opposition National Democratic Party (NDC) in securing jobs which in their believe is an act of betrayal to the party contributing to the woes of the party in the Constituency.

The group also called on Mr. Gbolo Thomah to stay away from matters relating to the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency.
