On Saturday, February 28, 2026, Honorable Yahaya Amantana, a former parliamentary aspirant of the Bole-Bamboi constituency, has reached out to the good people of Bole with a vital donation aimed at improving the local cemetery’s infrastructure.

Being a leader beyond a ballot box, he has successfully drilled and commissioned a borehole, and as well donated 400 building blocks to cater for the long awaited needs of the Bole cemetery.

Mr. Mohammed Karamodey, speaking to Yagbon News on behalf of the Bole Chief Imam, expressed deep gratitude with regards to the good works of Honorable Yahaya Amantana, he acknowledged how the provision made is a profound act of charity, and has as well saved residents from having to provide both water and pieces of blocks before burial rites are carried out at the cemetery.

He again stated, that, the provision of the borehole is seen as a major relief for residents of the Bole district, as it will provide a constant supply of water for performing essential burial rites and maintenance at the graveyard.

The 400 blocks donated is also intended to support construction projects at the site, ensuring the cemetery remains well-maintained and protected.

Speaking after him was Mr. Mohammed, popularly known as the “Agenda Man”who stated that, the main aim of the thoughtful intervention by Honorable Yahaya Amantana was to ease the pressure that comes with performing burial rites at the Bole cemetery.

He further encouraged other leaders, colleagues, and the youth to see it as a joint responsibility and not “a one-man” responsibility, as it aims at showing deep respect for both the living and all departed souls.

He added that, not just the cemetery but the development of the district as a whole should be a matter of great importance to every single resident in the district.

He rounded up his speech up by highlighting the fact that, the initiative is not only designed for our Muslim brothers and sisters, but extends to all Christians as well. Making it known that, there would not be hesitations on their side during times of need on either side.
