Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey, Member of Parliament for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency, has re-affirmed his commitment to providing good and effective leadership to promote the speedy development of the area.

Leadership, he explained was not only the act of leading people to achieve their goals but also being firm and determined on the ground, to achieve whatever objectives needed.

Speaking to Yagbon Radio in Bole, he said since the assumption of office as the MP for the area, he had remained focused despite the numerous challenges, to pursue a development agenda that would help improve the living conditions of the people.

Hon. Andrew said he was not perturbed by the daunting challenges and clandestine activities by his political opponents to distract him, but would continue to focus on his duties to serve the people of the constituency.

The MP indicated that corruption, coupled with mismanagement in the Akuffo Addo – Bawumia led administration, had undermined public confidence in political leaders and this was what he was working to restore and rally the people to work together to promote development in their communities.

Hon. Andrew stressed the need for the people to come together to support him to develop the constituency by voting massively for him and John Dramani Mahama come December 7, 2024.

He points out that under the governance of the NDC, initiatives such as rural electrification, road infrastructure, and improvements to the educational system in the constituency were visible before the NDC lost the 2016 elections.

“I have also worked hard to improving three thematic areas among others such as provision of potable drinking water, health promotion and improving the standard of education in the constituency “, he stated.
