She expressed her excitement over a peaceful District despite the multi ethnic nature of the area, adding that armed robbery in the pass was a concern but was delighted it has reduce.

The District Chief Executive as part of an annual action plan decided to be approve by the house among other completion of the police headquarters, relocation of lorry owners and ruminant sellers at the Sawla round about etc

However the assembly members rejected the budget of the assembly between 2022 and 2025,despite explanation by Mr Yahaya Mahama on the budget.

According the assembly members the the budget is not for STK District.

They however said they were not furnished with budget earlier to peruse it before the sitting.

They said the approval should have being done in emergency meeting not on normal business day.

They also described as the worst part of the budget stating that the items on the budget are that of West Gonja not STK .

Members question how the budget got to the national level without the approval of the general assembly.

The District budget analyst explained that he was asked to use the West Gonja format that accounted for those errors.

At end of deliberation the District coordinating director accepted the blame but promise to form a budget team to help the District budget analyst and Promised to return in two weeks to address all their concerns and approval.

The PM however warn that moving forward they won’t entertain such administrative errors.
