The Savannah Regional Communication Officer, R. A Jalil, has said that the New Patriotic Party government led by Nana Addo with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the Vice President and head of the economic management team has no business to continue staying in office after 2024 elections and hence called on all members of the NDC fraternity to contribute their quota in diverse ways to enable them win elections 2024.

He made the call on Sunday 27th August, 2023, after bringing to closure the first phase of Savannah Regional Communication Officer’s tour of the Region.

According to Mr R.A Jalil in a statement indicated that the essence to educate first time voters on the need to get registered when the electoral commission opens up the register for the limited registration exercise and to have a deeper and closer interaction with communicators, serial callers and social media communicators of our party.

“It’s refreshing noting from our tour, the battle readiness and assertiveness of our young folks on the ground — working assiduously to get the corrupt and hopeless New Patriotic Party out of government,” the statement added.

Lack of logistics, as usual, was the biggest challenge affecting the smooth delivery of their mandates. But as the Regional Communication officer, I assured them of my readiness to help them overcome those difficulties, he noted.

According to him 4 constituencies of the Region in the past week namely; Bole-Bamboi, Damongo, Salaga South and Salaga North were toured.

He thanked the former Minister for Agriculture Hon Alhaji Mumuni Limuna, Mr. Alhaji Nyari, Regional Chairman Alhaji Imoro, committee chairman/MP for Bole-Bamboi; Hon Yusif Sulemana, former MP for Damongo; Hon Adam Mutawakilu, former MP for Salaga North; Hon Alhassan Mumuni and Hon Ali Kassim Regional Treasurer .

The team also thanked the MP for Salaga South; Hon Zuwera Ibrahimah for the warm reception into her constituency.

The team is grateful to you all for the diverse roles you played to make this tour a success.

The second face of the tour to the rest of the constituencies will commence soon, he added.

The team comprised of the Regional Communication officer, Regional deputy communication officer, Mr Mahama Abu Hassan aka Azenji, Mr Emmanuel Sadari Sarfo, the Deputy Regional Secretary and Abdulai Kassim aka Nelly an NDC social media activist.
