Ramadan: Hon.Andrew Dari Chiwitey Donates 100 Bags Of Sugar To Muslims In Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency.

Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey, Member of Parliament for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency has donated 100 bags of sugar to the Muslim community to support them in their Holy month of fasting and prayers.

The gesture is to support all the Muslims in the area towards their 30 days fasting and prayers, Ramadan season.

The donation was given to all Muslims in the Constituency irrespective of their political affiliations.

It was also meant to promote political and religious tolerance within the Constituency.

Presenting the items to the Muslims community, the MP expressed his deepest appreciation to all Muslims for availing themselves of the fasting and prayers.

He said that his desire to give to the Muslims was influenced by their continuous support for the development of the area.

He also appreciated the leadership and members of the Muslim community in the constituency for always ensuring peace, unity and stability with people from the other faith.

Hon.Andrew encouraged them to remember Ghana, himself and former president John Mahama as they fast and pray.

He asked them to pray for him and the former president John Mahama as the NDC goes to the polls on May 13,2023 to elect both parliamentary and presidential candidates towards elections 2024.

They thanked Hon.Andrew for remembering the Muslim community especially in this period of global economic crisis.

They assured that the items would be distributed to the intended group of people.
