The Church of Pentecost Mandari District Ministry has donated 120 pieces of mathematical sets and pens to all Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates.

The gesture, which was under the direct guidance and supervision of the District Pastor Jonas Dwomoh and his wife Mrs Felicia Dwomoh Amankwah, was the Ministry’s contribution to education in the District.

The one hundred and twenty beneficiaries were from 5 JHS in the Mandari District which is also under the Sawla Area.

The beneficiary schools within our catchment area were: Mandari D/A JHS, Mandari E/A JHS, Bale Methodist JHS, Jentige D/A JHS, and Horiyiri D/A JHS.

“This has been our support to the candidates over the years apart from the prayer support and counseling that we offer them. We trust that with our widows mite, we can help bring the transformation we wish to see in the lives of these candidates” he told Yagbon News in an interview.

He  admonished the finalists to concentrate and maintain their focus before and during the examination period.

He asked them to abstain from any forms of acts that would hinder their prospects during the exam period, which included bringing outside materials into the examination room and adhering to all the exam rules.

He exhorted the finalists to maintain discipline and seek God’s help at all times.

He prayed for the candidates and wished them luck in the exam.

The students who could not hide their joy gave praise to God for the kind gesture and pledge to their best in their exams.
