The Presiding Member for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District who is also the Assembly Member for the Kawuribi Eectoral Area has given to twenty seven (27) widows in Sansateng which is part of his yearly support to the vulnerable within his Electoral Area .
The donation was made on the 31st of December 2025.
Addressing the beneficiaries the Presiding Member affirmed that this is something that he will continue to do and to always put smiles on their faces .
He assured them that he would help those living with disabilities, hence adding them to the District PWD’s group in order for them to also receive support from the District Assembly.
Each of the women recieved 5kg bag of rice,canned fish and spaghetti .
The women upon receiving the items expressed their profound gratitude to the honorable member.
