Former President John Dramani Mahama and flag bearer of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress on Wednesday August 5, 2020, honoured his civic responsibility and registered as a voter in the ongoing mass voter registration with a call on all qualified Ghanaians who have not registered to get their names on the electoral roll.

At the Bole District Assembly center, the Former President went through all the processes to acquire his card.

In an address to the media after his registration, the Former President urged every one to do well and register in order to be able to vote out Nana Addo’s Government come December 7.

The Former President told the gathering that Ghanaians don’t deserve this type of dictatorial leadership in a country from the Akufo Addo led administration.

Chronicling some of the unfortunate happenings in this government, he mentioned among collapsed of banks, loss of jobs, the use military to harass innocent citizens and taking away their citizenship right.

“In 2000 Rawlings handed over peacefully, kufour in 2009 did same and in 2017 I also did same but today my contender is doing everything possible to cheat in order not hand over peacefully”, Mahama stated.
