The Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa-West, Hon. Vincent Oppong Asamoah, has organised a free health screening exercise for the people living in his constituency.
The exercise was held at the SDA park and the free-health screening is the maiden edition for the constituents which the MP described as the best event he has ever organised in his political career.
“The event saw over thousand residents patronizing it and am really impressed with the attendance”, the MP told Yagbon News in an interview.
The beneficiaries were offered free medication and educated on the importance of living healthy lifestyles.
Services rendered included eyes tests, ears, nose and throat tests prescriptions, counseling and pharmaceutical services.
According to the MP, “This was in line with my vision of ensuring that my constituents have access to quality healthcare irrespective of their economic situations and hence cost of the screening has been absorbed my office as an MP”.
He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the Medical team and all volunteers who contributed to the success of the event.
