A former Member of Parliament for the Sawla -Tuna-Kalba constituency, Joseph Bayel Trumah , has passed away.
He died on August 17, 2024, at Sawla District hospital after a brief illness, a family source told Yagbon News.
Trumah, born on June 20, 1954 in the Savannah Region, was first elected to Parliament in a 1992, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He was a Member of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd parliament of the 4th Republic of Ghana parliament for Sawla- Tuna-Kalba constituency .
Details of his funeral arrangements would be announced later.
