The debutants of the Bole Zone of the 2024/2025 season of the Northern Region Division Two League, Jakpa Stars, won their game away from home.
The Bole based team beat Tuna Hawks courtesy a 43rd minute goal by Ibrahim Abdul Shakun.
Coach Issah led team now sits on top of the seven team league with three points after the two other games ended in draw.
The season began on Friday October 25 2024 with the Sawla derby as STK Stars took on Kayinti FC. The exciting game at The Sawla DA School Park produced four (4) goals as it ended 2-2.
Pusher’s Kuga Soccer Professionals then hosted Ayas’ Super Stars on Saturday at the Bole SHS Park.
No goal was scored as each team took a point for their struggle.
The seventh team, Almighty Bole, was not in action this weekend.
United in the second weekend will open their campaign on Friday against Kuga at the famous Kurabaso Park while the Hawks will make a short trip to Sawla to face Kayinti on Saturday.
Early table toppers Jakpa Stars on Sunday will face off with Super Stars at the Bole NTC Park along Mandari Road.
