The District Chief Executive for Wa West, Vida Diorotey has called on families both nuclear and extended system to gratefully accept good relationship bonding to promote love and unity in the family system.
She made this appeal when addressing the chiefs and people of Vieri at their Seontaar festival which is celebrated every year to renew their togetherness.
She added that it’s only stronger family bonding that fight to reduce poverty, improve education among young ones, paying medical bills and contribute to support individuals socio economic growth among members of the family.
The District Chief Executive also used the occasion to call on the Dagawiile people to continue to preserve the practices of their lineage for generations unborn to benefit.
She stressed that such event should not never be touted as a political influence program as it’s benefits are enormous.
She however thanked the Organizers of the program and pledged her support when the need arises.
Meanwhile other political heads and stakeholders in development were present to grace the occasion.
They also added that, the event could be used to lobby for developmental projects in the community such as school, health facility, education infrastructure among others.
Members of the Dagawiile from far and near communities gather every year to grace the annual program.
