Businessman voted NDC Chairman for Bole-Bamboi constituency.

Mr Alhasaan Kassim Kamgtey, a 52 – years old businessman, has been elected by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) delegates to chair the affairs of the Party in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency in the Savannah Region.

Mr Alhasaan polled 544 valid votes cast to beat his closest contender Mr Braimah Rashid who managed with 458 votes at the Delegates’ Conference of Bole-Bamboi Constituency on Saturday.

Mr Sarfo Osman polled 639 votes to become the newly elected Vice Chairman after beating his competitor Mr Abdulai Iddisah who had 364 votes.

Mr Augustine Jimah polled 547 votes to scoop the Constituency Secretary position, beating Mr Ansumah Abdulai who polled 465 votes .

Mr Gonsob Sansah Samuel was also voted the new Constituency Organiser after scooping 557 votes, beating Mr Mohammed Yussif who got 454 votes.

Mr Mahama Kamaldeen polled 574 votes to become the Constituency Treasurer, thrashing Mr Nsiah Adams Bamba who polled 441.

For the Deputy Secretary position Mr Alhasaan Abdallah and Razack Haruna polled 370 and 259 votes respectively to surrender the position to Mr Henry Siango who polled 377 votes.

Meanwhile, Mr Seidu Abdul Jalilu , Mr David Jimah,  Mr Iddisah Tahiru Omega were all elected Deputy Constituency Organizer, Deputy Constituency Treasurer and Deputy Constituency Communication Officer respectively.

The election, which was supervised by the Electoral Commission (EC) also saw the election of eight other executive members to help steer the affairs of the Party in the Bole-Bamboi constituency Constituency.

The Constituency Women Organiser went to Madam Bakari Hawa with 47 votes as against Madam Abdulai Hawa Helin with 46 votes and Madam Seidu Amina got 22 votes.

The Constituency Youth Organiser was won by Mr Eche Dodovi Joshua with 74 votes as against Adams Yussif who had 41 votes .

Mr Kelly Maxwell with 64 votes was elected as Deputy Youth Organizer after beating two other candidates; Mr Abdulai Mahama and Abdulai Kassim who had 36 and 15 votes respectively.

The Youth Rep position was won by Mr Sijjabon Elijah with 48 votes beating Mr Tofic Losina and Sulemana Sahandu who both got 41 and 26 votes respectively.

The Constituency Communication Officer Mr Bashiru Amantana and the Deputy Constituency Women Organizer Madam Sumani Evelyn both went into the elections unopposed.

Newly elected Chairman, Mr Alhasaan Kassim Kamgtey in a brief victory speech expressed thanks to the delegates for electing him.

He appealed to all NDC Party supporters to rally behind him in order to snatch power from the ruling New Patriotic Party in the 2024 general elections.
