The youth have been urged to guard against immoral behaviour and persistent acts of indiscipline because they risk compromising their future.
Teenagers, young men and women who join bad company stand to lose greatly if they persist in such bad behaviour.
Mr Botah Ernest, Chief Executive Officer of Vision Way Organisation , gave the advice when he paid a visit to inmates at the Sunyani regional prisons.
Mr Ernest said: “Unless the various organized groups, including counselling associations conduct intensive education among the youth, the country’s future will hang in the balance”.
He made it clear to the youth that the future of the country rested on them and; “any bad seed you sow today will definitely bounce back to you with devastating results”.
He noted that the development of the country was under great threat and it was necessary for the youth to grow up with a sense of discipline and hard work.
He also advised them to be guided by a high sense of sacrifice and adopt workable principles so as to promote effective community participation.
