In a bold move to tackle two critical issues affecting Ghanaian society, Boresah Royal Foundation has partnered with Gbogdaa Volleyball Academy to organize a comprehensive breast cancer awareness and female education campaign in Gbogdaa.
The event, held on November 1, 2024, drew hundreds of participants from the local communities around.
Executive Director of Boresah Royal Foundation, Queen Boresah Fantevie, delivered a powerful keynote address emphasizing the significance of breast cancer awareness and female education in Ghana.
She stressed that education is the backbone of societal development and that empowering women is crucial for national progress.
“Breast cancer awareness is not just a health issue, but a socio-economic one,” Queen Fantevie noted. “Early detection and treatment can save lives. Similarly, educating our girls ensures a brighter future for our communities.”
In addition to her thought-provoking speech, Queen Fantevie presented generous donations to the Gbogdaa community, including:
