Bolewura lauded for initiating developmental projects.

The Deputy Ranking member of parliament’s select committee on Trades and Industry and Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi constituency in the Savannah Region, Hon. Yusif Sulemana, has commended the paramount chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Bolewura Sarfo KutugeFeso (l) for promoting peace and also initiating developmental projects in the area.

The MP said this when he joined the chiefs and people of Bole to mark this year’s Damba on October 30, 2021.

Delivering a speech, the Mp told Bolewura that there is the need to have a teacher training college in Bole and called for an end to robbery and other social vises in the traditional area.

He said he is lucky to be a Member of Parliament in his regime adding that he wouldn’t have achieve this without the support of his sub-chiefs and called for a collaboration for the development of the area.

He said that the current incident of suspected robbers guned down by the Special Anti Robbery squad in the area coupled with other social vices in the area is worrying though he has not spoke to Bolewura on that but he believes that chief will want crime to be curtailed for the peace of the area.

The MP said love of education by Bolewura cannot be over emphasised and for that matter he is donating five thousand Ghana Cedis into his educational fund and will also donate mathematical sets BECE final year students.

He however lamented the abysmal performance by the Region in the just ended WASSCE though Bole Senior High School emerged first in the region.

He call for a dialogue to develop the education sector to improve upon the Region performance.

The DCE for Bole Hon Alele Veronica Hemeng expressed gratitude to all assembly members for the confidence reposed on her during her confirmation.

She said she was also grateful to Bolewura and his chiefs for their intervention during the confirmation process and pledged not to let them down.
