The Bole Divisional Police Command in the Savannah Region is on a manhunt for a suspected armed robber whose name has been given as Sumaila Alhassan.
A warrant of arrest was issued by the Bole District magistrate court for the arrest of suspect Sumaila Alhassan for the offence of robbery who is being declared wanted by the police in Bole.
According to a statement released on Wednesday, May, 5, 2021 for radio announcement and signed by the police commander,DSP David D. Azumah, the suspect is a butcher and he is about twenty- five (25 ) years of age who is stout and dark in complexion.
The police statement added that, the suspect is believed to be hiding in Bole town and its surrounding communities or in Tamale.
The Savannah Regional Police Command pleads with the public to assist the police with credible information that will lead to the arrest of the suspect.
“The Savannah Regional Police Command is seeking for support of the general public to volunteer information on the whereabout or hiding place of suspect Sumaila Alhassan for arrest to assist in investigation”, the police statement added.
The Savannah Regional Police Command have subsequently placed an amount of Two Thousand Ghana Cedis(GH 2,000.00) Cedis as a reward to any individual who provides relevant information that can lead to his arrest.
The general public is directed to contact phone number 0299204606 incase of anyone with a reliable information about the suspect.
Some residents of Bole have however called on government to beef up security in the area following recent robbery and murder cases recorded in the town.
