The Bole Pentecost Preparatory School on Wednesday, December 15, 202, held its third graduation ceremony for class six pupils entering its junior high school and kindergarten who were also promoted to class one.
The event organised on the theme “Possessing the nation through academic excellence and Godliness” focused on consolidating the achievements of the school, acknowledging its challenges whiles regarding deserving students and staff.
In the speech of the head teacher of the school, Mr. Simon Azure A-etika, he noted that the school has excelled in various phases of academic and extra curricular activities.
Speaking on the theme of the occasion, he disclosed that the corrupt nature of the human resource today is as a result of the lack of excellent integrity and the fear of the lord hence the school is aimed at inculcating good morals in the children whiles ensuring that they excel academically.
He added that despite certain challenges bedevilling the school, it has experienced a tremendous uplift in terms of infrastructure and the number of its staff and therefore in the best capacity to admit more students for the various academic stages.
Abdul Rahman Rabiatu Amabange who delivered a speech on behalf of all past students of the school noted that as old students their aim of attending the school was to achieve academic excellence and be transformed through a Godly way and indeed the school has been able to fulfil their expectations.
She added that as pioneers of the school they are optimistic of securing a 100% pass when the BECE results are finally released due to the nurturing they had from the staff of the school and its management.
She also used the opportunity to state that during their tenure as students of the school they won a number of awards both academic and in extra curricular activities competitions with both private and public schools within the District with their victory being a quiz competition against their sister school in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District.
The Bole Pentecost Preparatory was established in 2008 with just 3 students in the church building but it has experienced great change in all aspects of its activities and has its first badge of students who wrote this year’s 2021 BECE exams.
As part of the event there were various forms of cultural display, poem recital among other activities by the pupils and speeches delivered by prominent guests at the event.
