Some youth supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bole- Bamboi constituency have appealed to the president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo to disregard any form of lobbying to maintain Madam Veronica Alele Heming as District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area.

The youth of the party in the area, made the appeal in a press conference on May 31st, 2021, cited “divide and rule”, “neglect of party executives”, “poor working relationship” among others as their reason.

According to the youth group, the NPP performed poorly in the 2020 general elections in the constituency due to the inept behaviour of Madam Alele towards the youth as in bad relationship among the party pyramid in the constituency of which the youth forms a bulk of.

They also accused the DCE of sheer incompetence as the Assembly grader which cost almost a million Ghana cedis of tax payers money has been left at mercy of thieves in between Chache and Bole road.

They added that the DCE had grounded all thirteen vehicles to a halt that were handed over to her with the exception of one Nissan patrol and two Nissan pick- ups.

The youth group again blamed the DCE for the chieftaincy problems in the constituency due to her deficient in relationship with the traditional authorities.

According to him them the DCE failed to handle the matter due to her poor working relationship which resulted in distrust and disillusionment with poor political trust of the party in the District.

Madam Alele, according to the youth gravely refused to contribute to a building of a new party office in the constituency.

They indicated that the construction of the new Party is been carried out by benevolent party members and the monthly stipend for the party from national treasury and not a penny did she contribute.

The DCE, they said autocratically hijacked Government flagship programmes such as planting for food and jobs and rearing for jobs to the disadvantaged of the youth.

“These are programmes we expected to take advantage of inorder to reduce the unemployment rate but because of her self-centered approach, not much is felt about the flagship programmes”, they claimed.

They was also accused by the youth group as a greed and dishonesty person that her body language betrays her real sentiment.

The youth group therefore, urged the president to appoint a unifier and a development oriented person to administer the affairs of the District as they said reappointment of Madam Alele Heming will be reprehensible and distrust among them.
