Bole District Juvenile Volleyball Gala to be played at Gbogdaa.

The organising secretary of Bole District Juvenile Volleyball Committee, Mr Issahaku Osman aka Champion said the host community for the 7th edition of the now popular Juvenile Volleyball Gala is ready for the competition.

Dabouyiri Volleyballers who are the host team eventually settled on Gbogdaa to host the gala after they had earlier on proposed to host at Doli.

Speaking to Mr Yahaya Waris during Yagbon Radio’s weekly sports preview and review program stated that three courts have been prepared for the gala since the number of teams have increased as compared to the previous tournament.

He added that he was told by the chairman of the local organising committee, coach James that everything needed for a successful competition had been put in place.

Seven communities namely: Maluwe, Seripe, Bole, Mandari, Simarayiri, Makumah and Dabouyiri will present teams to compete in the under 15 and under 13 boys and girls categories.

Simarayiri Volleyball Club will be defending their under 15 girls and U-13 girls trophies whiles Seripe Mighty Fingers are favourite to defend the U-15 boys trophy.

The host team will seek to capitalize on the home support to keep their U-13 trophy they won at Seripe.

All teams will report on the 11th of March, 2022. All preliminary stage matches will be played on Saturday the 12th and the finals for all four categories to be played the next day.
