The Bole-Bamboi constituency branch of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Savannah Region has suspended three of its members for anti-party conduct.

The party Kadawu Centre B, Secretary, Mr Mahama Zakaria ( Couch Zak), together with E/ A primary Youth Organizer, Mr Ibrahim Adam, ( Kayastic) and Jakala Community Centre Organizer, Mr Abdul- Karim Mohammed ( Amin Jaja) have been suspended in a letter dated 15th November, 2020.

The letter was signed by the constituency chairman, Alhaji Imoro Fuseini which states that the above listed branch executives have been suspended indefinitely and revoked any other party leadership position given any.

They are accused of exhibiting anti-party conduct during the call in time one Local Radio Station Morning Show programme on Monday, 13th November, 2020, contrary to Act 46(1), 46(6)and 46(8)(B) of the party’s Constitution.

Speaking to Yagbon News, the Constituency Communication’ s Officer, Mr. Bashiru Amantana explained that the affected executives made comments during a radio call in time and made utterences which the party found to be comments that have the potential of undermining the fortunes of the party.

He added that the suspended executives also threatened to throw their support behind the New Patriotic Parliamentary candidate in the Bole- Bamboi Constituency which amounts to disloyalty hence stripping them off from their executives positions.

“They are however still members of the NDC but not as executives of their various branches”, Bashiru told Yagbon News.

The Regional Chairman, Member of Parliament, Council of Elders and chairmen of the three branch executives have all been copied in the suspension letter of the 3 branch executives.
