Hon Yusif Sulemana (Ori), Member of Parliament for the Bole- Bamboi constituency on Thursday, February 25, 2021, inaugurated three boreholes fitted with hand pumps for some farming communities in the Bole District of the Savannah Region.
The two terms Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency said Former President John Dramani Mahama supported him to construct the boreholes to provide potable drinking water for the residents of Gbilimpe, Bombote and Dikpa communities.
According to him, the water projects, estimated at the cost of thousands of Ghana Cedis, had brought a great relief to the residents of the benefited communities.
Hon Yusif explained that water is one of the basic needs for the survival of mankind, hence his determination and sacrifice to provide water for his constituents.
According to the MP he has promise to provide bore holes to the kwame-kwasi electoral area and one has already been commissioned at Carpenter, making a total of four (4).
“Many communities are also challenged when it comes to portable drinking water and pleads with them to restrain patient and that at the right time, he will connect them to portable drinking water”, he indicated.
“MP once came here and promised to give us portable drinking water and God’s willing he is here to commission it toady, We pray that God give us a united front and prays that he get to give us when ever the need arises” said a resident who could hide his ecstasies.
Gbilimpe Wura, Sarfo Amantana, thanked the MP for the wonderful projects he has embarked upon to improve living conditions of people across the constituency, and assured the MP that the water will be put into good use.
Dery sansah, Assembly Member for the area thanked the Hounerable MP for the kind gesture and said that the hardworking lawmaker had initially procured four motorbikes for the area to aid in the transportation of school children who trek several kilometers to school and added that the MP is a man of his words.
