The Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Hon. Yusif Sulemana, had attended a graduation ceremony of WEST END UNIVERSITY COLLEGE in Accra where 45 of his constituents including the Constituency Treasurer and some branch executives graduated with various degrees in Education.
Hon. Yusif encouraged the new graduates, especially those with Bachelor degrees to quickly register and take the Teacher licensure examination to make them employable as required by the National Teaching council.
He also promised to pay half the required admission fees of those graduating with diplomas anytime they gain admission to pursue their Bachelor degrees.
The MP also presented a cash amount of GHC 5000.00 to the graduates and their leaders to enable them offset some of their travel expenses back home. He also assured them that his doors will remain open to them anytime he is called upon for Education is one of his main priorities as their member of Parliament.
WEST END UNIVERSITY COLLEGE in 2018 opened a satellite distance learning centre in the Constituency capital, Bole in its bid to bringing education to the doorsteps of many education enthusiasts who due to one reason or another are not able to travel out to acquire it, to do so without stress. It has since produced many graduates with diplomas and degrees in basic Education and early childhood Education.
