The Savannah Regional branch of Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN) of the National Democratic Congress has congratulated the Savannah Regional Youth wing and the entire leadership of the Party for a successful Congress held at Damongo over the weekend.

The Savannah Regional Coordinator of TEIN, Mr Jacob Nwaangu Gbelinyari, through a statement issued on Friday, November 18, 2022, described the election as free and fair, devoid of rigging.

Acknowledging what the challenges as an opposition political Party are, we cannot hide our appreciation and further admiration of the leadership under whose authority this conference was conducted and supervised, the statement added.

“We wish say a big thank you to Alhaji Inusah Mahama, the Youth Organizer, Hajia Salamatu Saaka and Hon. Issahaku Yahaya Kalusha, the deputy Youth Organizers respectfully, for the superb and job well done. While we congratulate these three wonderful personalities for the wonderful job done by conducting such a successful conference, may we also seize the opportunity to specially congratulate Alhaji Inusah Mahama, the Youth Organizer elect for emerging victorious in the just ended elections”,Mr Jacob noted.

The statement further congratulated Mr. Bawa Mubarik, deputy National TEIN Coordinator in charge of the Northern Zone and Mr. Saaka Abdul-Razak, a fellow Comrade, a professionally trained teacher and an educationist, for their successful election as the two deputies.

“Even as we congratulate the victors for emerging victorious, we wish to equally thank all the aspirants for subjecting themselves to this important democratic process. And to as well wish them the very best of luck in their future endeavors and quest to serving the Party, NDC in any capacity”, the statement indicated.

Mr Jacob added that they were glad for the victors who emerged successful to lead the Savannah Region Youth Wing for the next four years, particularly the victory of Comrade Bawa Mubarik because Comrade Bawa is a product of TEIN, having served TEIN as Savannah Region Coordinator and later as the Deputy National Coordinator in charge of the Northern Zone.

“We at TEIN wish to also assure the Youth Wing leadership of our utmost readiness in supporting them achieve their targeted plans and aims within the period of their reign and counting on their usual support and cooperation as we work towards achieving victory for the NDC Savannah Region”, Mr Jacob added.
