NDC Constituency Elections: Augustine Jimah files nomination.

The National Democratic Congress of the Bole- Bamboi Constituency Secretary hopeful, Augustine Jimah, has submitted his nomination forms to contest in the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency elections.

Speaking shortly after the filing, Augustine Jimah, promised to abide by the roadmap and guidelines given by the party to ensure a peaceful and successful contest, adding that he will commit to helping roll out programmes and policies that will promote the welfare of his constituents.

The position of the constituency secretary is not one that should be left to be occupied by someone who just want to occupy a political office but one that requires a personality who is a versatile team player who can communicate to reach the ordinary Ghanaian or constituent on the street, agile, accommodative, good interpersonal relationships and competent enough to administer a constituency Secretariat,he stated.

“The office requires one who can debate on issues across multiethnicities and with vast knowledge in the sociopolitical climate of Ghana and most especially the Bole-Bamboi constituency”, said Augustine Jimah.

Mr. Augustine Jimah has served the constituency and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in various capacities including; Member of the constituency campaign taskforce 2012, 2016 and 2020. Campaign research and spokesperson for election 2020, Bole-Bamboi.

He has been a member of Savannah regional research and communications committee, Campaign manager for election 2016 Bole-Bamboi, Member of constituency election collation team for election 2016 and 2020 for Bole-Bamboi and also a member of regional and constituency communications team.

According to election 2024 is a is a crucial one and a must win election and to win, we must go into the elections with courage, decisive and competent leaders and that he Augustine Jimah possess those values.

The NDC will hold its Constituency elections on October 22, 2022.

This follows a successful branch election of party executives across all branches of the party some weeks ago.

The party subsequently opened nominations for the Constituency elections on September 20, 2022, and closed the process on September 24, 2022.
