They Savannah Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Imoro has said that the NDC is optimistic of winning the December Presidential and Parliamentary elections as all indicators shows that the NDC is a better option.

He stated this in Sawla on Saturday October 24, during a victory walk organised by his party ahead of the 2020 elections.

Speaking to Yagbon Radio the chairman said attendance at the victory walk indicates that the party will win. He said most people came without invitation which actually depicts that victory is coming.

Mr. Imoro said the NPP Government in 2016 said Ghana was sitting on Money and we are still hungry , today they have power what have they change?, he asked.

He said times are hard for Ghanaians after four years of the Akufo Addo led government, because businesses are collapsing.

The Regional Chairman said the achievements of John Dramani Mahama has overwhelmed the NPP that is why they are scared.

“When NDC was in power a bag of cashew was almost thousand Cedis today can same be said in this government? So this shows that NDC is coming to power” Alhaji Moro stated.

Hon. Chiwitey Dari Andrew, the Member of Parliament and the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the Sawla- Tuna-Kalba Constituency said the walk is a victory one because the Npp cannot boast doing anything for the people of sawla -Tuna- Kalba constituency.

He said when COVID-19 came a lot of resources were pumped in the Constituency which they did nothing with those resources.

The Member of Works and Housing Parliamentary select Committee, said aside Global Communities that dug a lot of boreholes what has NPP done in the Constituency.

The Member of Parliament said can the NPP tell the people of the Sawla- Tuna-Kalba what they did with their common fund from 2017 to date? But if you go to any part of the Constituency you will see what I did.

The Regional Chairman together with other executives handed a party tent for some youth in sawla.

The MP was assisted by the Regional executives and the Member of Parliament for Bole- Bamboi on the victory walk as preparedness towards the 2020 elections.
