The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Savannah region is determined to win back the Damongo constituency seat in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

According to the Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. Adam Mutawakilu Garlus, the party is poised in ensuring it takes back the seat from the NPP lawmaker.

Speaking at Bole during the inauguration of the Savannah Regional Youth wing working committee said all efforts would be made to win back the Damongo constituency seat.

He indicated the successful inauguration of the youth wing working committee has proven that the NDC is ready to wrestle the seat from the NPP and therefore called for collaborative efforts from all stakeholders.

“The atmosphere in Damongo today shows that the NDC is ready for victory. We are taking back the Damongo seat come 2024 and that is a must. I will urge all youth in the region to rally behind the constituency executives and let’s work hard to take back the seat,” Hon.Garlus stated.

He insisted “The party in the region is preparing itself very well to rake in more votes for the party’s presidential candidate and also ensure we get more parliamentary seats as well.”

He again called for unity and oneness to guide the party to recapture political power from the NPP.
