Yaw Owusukrom Community Gets Health Centre.

Madamfo Ghana Foundation, a charitable organization has provided an ultramodern health facility for the people of Yaw Owusukrom community in the Dormaa West District.

The foundation, with its parent body in Germany, is funded by individuals, companies and people from all walks of lives.

Beyond alleviating poverty, the NGO’s prime focus is developmental projects of all kinds, including drilling of boreholes, building hospitals, KVIPs and supporting the government’s school feeding programme in some districts.

The health facility is expected to serve the residents of the community and its adjoining communities.

The health facility, which was commissioned on Saturday November 27, 2021, saw the constituency executives of the largest opposition party, NDC gracing it.

Speaking on behalf of the Member of Parliament, Mr. Stephen Awuni Azorba, constituency secretary of the party told the gathering that other equally important assignment has taken the MP out of town and hence his absence at the function.

He indicated that the office of the MP is ever willing to assist them to ensure the smooth and effective running of the health facility and hence they should not hesitate to contact the outfit of the MP when the need arises.

Mr. Azorba further urged the people to effectively utilize the facility which is now at their disposal.

The secretary also used the opportunity to thank the NGO, Madamfo Ghana Foundation, for listening to the plea of the MP and hence executing such a magnificent edifice for the people of Yaw Owusukrom to improve upon health delivery in the area.

After, the commissioning of the health centre, the party executives also attended a graduation ceremony of apprentices at Nkrankwanta, the capital of the Dormaa West District.

On behalf of MP, the Party Chairman, Mr Alhaji Seiba Abdulai presented an amount of GHS 9,500.00 to the tailors and dressmaking association to aid them in their activities.

Mr. Stephen Awuni Azorba, however advised the apprentices to be industrious and innovative in their work in order to be successful

Mr. Kwasi Busanga, an executive member who was also present at the occasion also pledged to provide assistance to the apprentices to ensure a smooth start of their businesses.

The two functions were attended by Chairman Alhaji Seiba Abdulai, Mr Stephen Awuni Azorba secretary,Mr Ayei Stephen Constituency Youth Organizer, Mr Dong-Ara James Deputy Constituency Youth Organizer, and Mr Kwasi Busanga an executive member.
