The Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge located in the heart of Bole in the Savannah had on the 21st of August, 2021, marked its first anniversary on the theme “celebrating a year of hospitality excellence, in a tradition of trust”.
Addressing a durbar of chiefs, Rev Pastor Obeng Addo Head Pastor for Bole Pentecost church said the leadership of the lodge should know that they are in honey moon period for putting up such a magnificent edifice.
He said a lot of people from far and near come here because they want to satisfy their curiosity on the sight of the building.
He said they will be agitation of staff and other competitors will also still spring up to frustrated their effort.
The Pastor urged the staff of the lodge to remain committed, be patient, resilient among others overcome all challenges that may confront them.
The Secretary to the Bole Traditional Area on behalf of Bolewura Sarfo Kutugefeso I, said the CEO of the royal lodge is a son of the land but should see himself as a hero.
He said considering the investment made on the land, it takes a hero to take such a risk and that the palace has admired him t for promoting culture and tradition by naming some of the rooms in Gonja traditional names.
Bolewura however promise to give out 20 acres of land to the CEO for the construction of a Hospital for the people of Bole and ask him to meet Customary Lands Secretariat for documentation.
Addressing the media, the chairman of the anniversary planning committee Mr Christian kobina Ntsin said that the lodge is poised to make life better to its clients at all times.
The Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge located in Bole of the Savannah Region has was opened to the public after its completion and launch in September 27, 2020.
The Royal Lodge consists of 43 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, swimming pools, gym centre.
