An aspiring  New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Sawla-Tuna- Kalba constituency, Seidu Nuhu Banasco, has called on the delegates of the party and constituents to give him the nod to contest on the ticket of the party and subsequently vote for him to represent them in Parliament as he understands their plight.

Mr Banasco who filed his nomination forms to contest the NPP parliamentary primary in the constituency, said it was time for the constituents to consider giving the chance to aspirants who could relate with the people in better ways.

“I believe I relate to the people especially the teeming youth of the constituency and I call on the delegates to give me the chance to lead the party in the 2024 elections,” said Mr Banasco.

When asked why he thinks the delegates should give him the opportunity over his opponents, Mr Banasco said he had served the NPP in the constituency in different capacities more particularly votes for the NPP in the 2020 elections increased for first time ever when I run as the 2020 parliamentary candidate.

“Based on my 2020 performance, am therefore calling on the delegates to re- elect me as the parliamentary candidate for the 2024 elections”, he stated.

His top priorities, he said, are education, youth development and service delivery to improve and better the lot of the citizenry adding that it was his vison to unite the party at the grassroots and spread the message of the NPP.

The NPP is bigger than any individual, he said, and urged his contenders to avoid insults and personal attacks which could affect the fortunes of the party.
