The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area in the Gonja Kingdom, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (l), has enskinned Alhaji Dramani Mumuni, former Chief of Tuna, as the new Mandari wura.
Traditional and other cultural activities of the area were in full display during the coronation at the Bolewura’s Palace on Wednesday March 31, 2022.
The new Mandari wura was enskinned as Tuna wura on February 17,2019,and hails from the Jagape Royal Gate .
The Mandari skin became vacant after the demise of the late Mandariwura Seidu Awusi Kisimonfo Bonyanso who passed on this year at South Africa after falling sick shortly.
The Jagape gate then settled on the former Tuna wura as their choice to be the next Mandari wura who was also accepted by Bole wura and subsequently enskinned today.
The Mandari skin in the Bole Traditional Area is the second most paramount skin after the Bole skin.
The newly elevated chief, once served as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Sawla- Tuna-Kalba District of the Savannah Region under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration.
Speaking to Yagbon News after his enskinment, the new Mandari wura Alhaji Dramani Mumuni expressed his joy for the honour done unto him by the Paramount Chief of Bole, his gate, the youth of Bole, his family and all loved ones for the support given to him from time of his nomination to his enskinment.
