Somo wins 2025 Yagbon radio Birifor inter – clan quiz competition

Somo has won the 2025 Yagbon radio Birifor inter – clan quiz competition to bring their championship tally to two.

They won with 102 points as against 93 points by the Da.

The Da did very well and was close but it was not their year, said the Quiz Master Chipo Kwaku when he announced the final results.

The team of the Birifor news desk congratulated the Da , who were hoping to win the trophy for the third time.

We would like to thank all our listerners for contributing to the success of the program and the Member of Parliament for STK ,Hon Andrew Dari Chiwitey for his immense contribution.

Thanks also goes to our consultant Mr Jonathan Laamiitey .

Awards.

1st prize, Somo, one box of weedicide,1 knapsack sprayer, a pair of Wellington boot,a Cutlass and cash prize of 250 Ghana Cedis.

2nd prize,Da, one box of weedicide,1 knapsack sprayer, and a cash prize of 250 Ghana Cedis.

Both Kamire and Hien reps had 200 Ghana Cedis each.
