The Sawla – Tuna- Kalba National Democratic Congress (NDC) has organised a health walk at Soma to keep members of the party active ahead of the December polls.

Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey, Member of Parliament, speaking at the event said that the walk is aimed at creating awareness of the Party’s readiness to capture power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming general elections.

He said the party had series of activities to be carried out before the polls all aimed at canvassing for votes for the party to secure the victory they had been yearning for.

The MP urged the electorates to vote for the NDC to come back to power to continue with its good policies and programmes, which were tailored at enhancing the socio-economic development of the country and improving the standard of living of the populace.

He urged the people to come out in their numbers to vote for John Dramani Mahama and the parliamentary candidates of the party for a positive change.

Hon. Andrew was optimistic that the party would come out victorious in the December elections and urged party faithful to rally behind the leaders to bring victory to the party.

The MP later on Monday presented mathematical sets to all BECE candidates in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency.

Presenting the mathematical sets at the assembly, Hon Chiwitey encouraged them to master courage, compose themselves, and answer questions to the best of their knowledge.

He added that where you school doesn’t matter, what matters is the determination.

He reminded them of his package for the 3 best students and urged all, especially the females, to endeavour to pick up those packages through hard work.

He wished all of them the best of luck in their exams.
