Mr Soale Adams Alele, Coordinator of Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District in the Savannah Region, has urged Ghanaians to renew the mandate of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the December 7, 2020, general elections for good development policies.
He said the Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration achievements in the last three-and-a-half-years have brought relief to the citizenry .
He said President Akufo-Addo have introduced programmes including NABCO which is enhancing the lives of young graduates in the country.
Mr Soale made the plea after he donated billboards, plastic chairs and nose masks to the party on Thursday November 26, 2020, in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency in support of party activities towards the December 7 polls.
He said the donation is in appreciation of the Akufo Addo led administration as he touted policies introduced by the government which have impacted the lives of the youth of Ghana particularly unemployed graduates.
He added that though the money given to the NABCO beneficiaries might not be enough but it is better as they have something to depend on.
He recalled how the country was bedeviled with graduates unemployment but for the good policies of president Akufo the trend is gradually changing as programmes capable of impacting the lives of Ghanaians have been introduced by the Akufo Addo- Bawumia- led Government.
“Based on the good policies introduced by president Akufo Addo I believe that he will do more if he is retain as the Head of this country”, he indicated.
He asked the members of the executives to take inspiration from the donation as foundation to work hard and sell the good message of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the people so they could win their votes for the party to retain power.
He urged the constituents in the constituency to vote massively for their Presidential candidate, and the Parliamentary candidate of the constituency, Seidu Nuhu Banasco to ensure effective governance in the country and in the Sawla- Tuna-Kalba constituency.
Receiving the items, Mr Mohammed Fuseini, the constituency party chairman commended the District Coordinator for the gesture and urged other appointees to take steps to also support the party in all diverse ways to ensure Nana Addo wins the upcoming elections convincingly.
The NABCO scheme is one of the numerous Government’s interventions to tackle multiple challenges facing the economy including; issues of graduate unemployment.
Since its inception in 2018, about 100,000 graduates were engaged in seven sectors of the economy including; education, health, local government, agriculture, entrepreneurship, revenue and digitization.
The programme was introduced to provide opportunities for graduates to be equipped with employable skills in different sector agencies of the economy that would enable personnel acquire relevant skills and knowledge to compete favourably in the job market.
