The Savannah Regional Communications Directorate of the NPP has held a two days workshop for about 150 communicators (Radio and Tv Panelists, Serial Callers and Social Media) from across the Seven (7) constituencies of the Region on the rudiments of effective communication.

According to a release issued on June, 13th, 2021, by Mohammed Issah, the Savannah Region Communication Directorate of the NPP, the self-motivated communicators had a good time with their facilitators across the three(3) operational zones in the Region. Serial Callers and Social Media Communicators were additionally aided with mobile phones to facilitate their work as communicators.

Aside their various support to the Team, the Hon. Information Minister and MP for Ofuase-Ayeribi, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and Dr. Clifford Braimah also took time off their busy schedules to interact visually with communicators at the various centers for the 2 days of training, the release added.

As veteran communicators, they shared their perspectives on how the job of communicating can be more effectively done.

The Regional Minister, Hon. Saeed Muazu Jibril and the Regional Chairman alongside his executives also made time with the Team to lend more support.

On behalf of the Savannah Regional Communications Directorate and it’s management body, I wish to sincerely acknowledge the indelible support of Dr. Ing. Clifford Braimah, the MD for the Ghana Water Company towards this Training Workshop for Regional Communicators.

Dr. Clifford took the expenses of the workshop as well as 90 pieces of mobiles phones to retool our communicators. The Hon. Minister for Information as usual has been with the team all through with endless support to get things done, Mr. Mohammed Issah stated in the release.

We cannot forget the selfless support of the Savannah Regional Minister and Chairman, Hon. Muaz Jibril and Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana (Prof. Kalamonia) respectively. Hon. Adam Eliasu (Red Bawa) of North Gonja District, Hon. Tamimu of East Gonja Municipal and Hon. Mustapha of Central Gonja District were not left out, the team appreciates your support, Mr Mohammed noted.

This credit allocation cannot be completed without the mention of one great woman I celebrate in this contemporary profession of ours. Our own Sister Lawratu is the actual engine behind this success. She pulled all the strings from behind to see us through.

The Team is very grateful for the recognition and guidance to shape our chosen service to the New Patriotic Party. We are obviously motivated and poised for the battle ahead.
