A parliamentary candidate hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bole-Bamboi constituency of the Savannah Region, Raphael Kumah Abolasom has visited the Bole office of the Electoral Commission to monitor the ongoing limited voter’s registration.

He expressed his happiness over the exercise and commended the officials of the Bole District Electoral Commission for making the exercise so friendly for the people.

According to the aspiring parliamentary candidate , the visit was to afford him the opportunity to have first hand information about the ongoing Limited registration exercise in the constituency by EC.

It was also to learn from the executives the challenges the party was facing in ongoing Limited Registration Exercise, and how he could help to address those challenges in his own small way as an aspiring Parliamentary Candidate.

After fruitful deliberations with the Constituency Executives, Raphael also interacted with the NPP agents at the centre and admonished them to be vigilant.

He expressed that, the limited voters’ registration gives the opportunity to the youth to register and be eligible to vote and that, calling on them to participate in the exercise.

Hon. Raphael highlighted the importance of the voter’s ID card as he believes the merits with regards to the card is enormous.

“Voters ID are not mended for elections alone, it is one of the means of establishing your identity. When one wants to contest elections, the laws state it clear that you must have an ID card. In fact, there are several things that require voters ID”, he said.

During the visitation,on Thursday September 29,2023, Hon Raphael Kumah Abolasom donated an amount of money to the party executives towards the limited votes registration.

He again visited the EC office to monitor the activities of registration where soft drinks, bottled water parks and amount of money was equally given to the EC officials to aid them in the process.

Raphael Kumah Abolasom used the opportunity to commend the constituency executives for the warm reception accorded him.

He also praised the constituency executives for work done so far.

He said, he looks forward to having a collaborative and a cordial relationship with the constituency executives when elected as the PC of the party in the upcoming parliamentary primaries.

He also called on others who were eligible to show up and register.
