The past and present District Chief Executives for the Sawla -Tuna- Kalba District have been honoured with photo portraits for their immense contributions to the realization of growth and development in the area.

The honour was embarked by the Presiding Member of the District who is also the Assembly Member for Kawurbi Electoral Area.

Hon.Abdulai Mohammed, the Presiding Member noted that we choose to honour differently, to remember in real time.

According to him, societies thrive when they acknowledge greatness as it unfolds, not just after the curtain falls.

It is time to institutionalize respect, not just express it,he added.

The portraits made consist of all 7 DCEs who have served the District

Hon. Sinkinaa saaka, the current DCE who received the photo portraits expressed gratitude to Hon Abdulai Mohammed for the honor bestowed on him and his predecessors, who in diverse ways contributed to the development of this District.

They include Hon. James Kipo Of NPP,Hon. Alhassan Sakuru of NDC ,Hon. Isaac Mumuni Dramani (GARIBA)of NDC, Hon. Lawal Taminu of NPP, Hon. Lonsina Barikisu of NPP, Hon. Jacob Dumakawe of NPP and Hon. Sinkinaa saaka of NDC.
