The National President of the Ghana Volleyball Federation, Mr Paul Atchoe has stated emphatically that he and other members of the board would attend the 4th Edition of the Bole District Under 15 boys and girls Volleyball tournament to be hosted by Mandari at the end of June, 2021.

Mr Atchoe in an interview with head of sports of Yagbon Radio, Mr Zakaria Tumeto Alidu praised the organizers of the tournament and urged them not to let their guard down.

He said he didn’t need to wait for any formal invitation to announce his coming because he had already discussed the tournament with the board of the volleyball federation which had received unanimous endorsement.

The President also entreated volleyball team managers to endeavor to register their teams and players into the data base of the International Federation of Volleyball to enable the players to receive the all important FIVB No. which is now a requirement to play for any of the national teams.

In responding to a question about the benefits of volleyball to an individual, Mr Atchoe stated that Volleyball makes the individual a fast thinker. “You can’t play volleyball if you are not intelligent, because you just have some few minutes to take a decision” Mr. Atchoe remarked.

He promised that his outfit would work to make the necessary basic equipment especially volleyballs available at the regional levels nationwide for the various teams.

He stressed that Volleyball is the number one family sport hence families are encouraged to play it.

Mr Paul Atchoe reiterated that the Bole District is still the area with many volleyball potentials thus, he and his outfit would pay full attention to Bole Volleyball.
