The District Chief Executive for North Gonja in the Savannah Region Hon.Red Bawa, is optimistic that the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is on course to break the eight-year power swing.

He made this known in an address on behalf of the seven MDCEs of the Savannah Region in a get-together party of the Npp party faithfuls and its leadership in the Savannah Region at Bole Dubai on Friday, 7th January, 2022.

He noted that it is only the NPP that can point at unprecedented initiatives and functioning policies in very aspect of the Ghanaian economy.

He further echoed the developmental projects ongoing in the Savannah region spearheaded by the Nana Addo led administration and hence cautioned party faithfuls to stop the “blame games” but to consolidate the gains of the party.

“As far as we remain in power everyone will be sorted. So let’s stop apportioning blames but work together as a people to consolidate owns in the last five years and make sure that we break the 8”, he said.

Hon. Red Bawa noted
that the party is very much aware of the efforts of its members and assured them that each and everyone of the party shall be reciprocated duely.

The Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company, Dr. Ign. Clifford Braimah thanked all and sundry at the party for their support and sacrifices to the party in making sure that it became victorious in 2016 and 2020 general elections.

He implored them to stay committed to working for the party despite the challenges they face as supporters and to be hopeful that at God’s appointed time they shall reap the fruits of their labour.

“It’s not an easy task. Working for a political party requires dedication and sacrifice. Most often you may demand your reward but it is not always available. The absence of what you are looking for doesn’t not mean it will not be ahead of you”, he said.
