“Let’s Empower Youth Through Sports: The Urgent Need for Juvenile Basketball and Volleyball Teams in Bole District”.

The announcement of the construction of a mini sports complex in Bole District by the former President has brought renewed excitement and hope to the sports community within Bole and its environs.

This development presents a unique opportunity to nurture the talents of young people in the district, particularly in basketball and volleyball.

The formation of juvenile teams in these sports is not only good but essential for the growth and development of the youth.

To capitalize on the former president’s initiative, stakeholders must come together to establish juvenile basketball and volleyball teams in the Bole District.

Fortunately for Bole, there’s already a juvenile volleyball association which was started some four years ago and still running smoothly.

The authorities might find the following recommendations useful:

First, a Steering Committee, comprising local authorities, sports enthusiasts, and education officials to oversee team formation and development, should be constituted.

Second, there is the need to identify coaches and mentors, train, and certify coaches to provide technical guidance and mentorship.

Then, recruit young players by regularly organizing school sports competitions.

Finally, develop training programs by designing structured training schedules and programs to ensure continuous improvement.

I wish to respectfully urge local authorities, sports enthusiasts, and other stakeholders to join forces and make the formation of juvenile basketball and volleyball teams in Bole District a reality.

Together, we can build a brighter future for our youth and create a lasting legacy for the district.

In a nut shell, the construction of the mini sports complex in Bole District presents a golden opportunity to empower young people through sports.

Establishing juvenile basketball and volleyball teams will not only put the facility into good use and enhance talent development but also contribute to the district’s social and economic growth.

Let us seize this moment and invest in the future of our youth.

We already have a lot of football teams in the district, and therefore, we only need to encourage and promote these teams.

I am a teacher, a passionate grassroots sports promoter .
