Member of Parliament (MP) for Damongo Constituency, who doubles as Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Lawyer Abu Jinapor, has donated a brand new Toyota Hilux Pick-up and 5 new motorcycles to the Bole-Bamboi of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Savannah Region.
The donation formed part of his effort to help enhance the electoral fortunes of the party in the region and win the 2024 general election convincingly.
“In 2020 the party did very well in the region by securing 3 seats out of 7,
Judging from the performance of President Akufo-Addo’s government in the past years , there is no doubt that we can achieve a much higher percentage in the region than we did in 2020.”
The donation was aimed at facilitating the work of the Executives, especially in remote parts of the Constituency to propagate the monumental heights chalked by the NPP-led government.
The logistics were on Sunday December 25,2022 handed over to the Executives of the constituency by the Savannah Regional Secretary Mr Mohammed Issah on behalf of the minister.
Mr Issah said for the party in the region to achieve it target of winning more seats,it is incumbent to well-resourced all the constituencies with machinery; and I am of the firm belief that this donation will help in that regard,” he added.
Bole-Bamboi Chairman of the NPP, Abu Bilfu , who received the donation on behalf of the Executive lauded the kind gesture of Lawyer Abu Jinapor saying “the party is grateful to him for making this noble donation at this crucial time”.
“I assure you that the logistics received from you today will be deployed immediately to areas that need them the most; and we will ensure that they are put to maximum use to secure more years for the NPP to be in a political power.
The Bole-Bamboi Constituency has become the seventh constituency in the region to receive the wholehearted gesture from the Damongo legislature.
