Kilampobile to host 16th Bole District Juvenile volleyball Gala.

The bustling town of Kilampobile is set to become the center of attention for volleyball enthusiasts as it plays host to the 16th edition of the Bole District Juvenile Volleyball Gala.

The tournament, scheduled to take place from Friday, June 21st to Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, promises to be a thrilling and action-packed event that will showcase the talents of young volleyball players from across the District.

The Bole District Juvenile Volleyball Gala is a highly anticipated event that brings together teams of young players aged 15 and under to compete in a friendly and competitive atmosphere in three categories for both boys and girls namely; Under 15, Under 13 and Under 10.

This edition is expected to attract a record number of teams, with players eager to showcase their skills and talent on the court.

Spectators can expect to see fast-paced games, impressive spikes, and acrobatic dives as the teams battle it out for the coveted title of champions in each category.

Speaking to Yagbon Radio during the Sports Hour hosted by Mr Yahaya Waris, the Organising Secretary of Bole District Juvenile Volleyball Gala, Mr Osman Issahaku aka Champion highlighted the importance of the gala: ‘The Bole District Juvenile Volleyball Gala not only provides young players with a platform to showcase their abilities, but also promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie among participants.

The tournament is a testament to the importance of sports in fostering positive values and attitudes in young people, and serves as a valuable opportunity for players to develop their skills and passion for the game. ‘ The Champion man further added that many coaches from big schools across the country come to the tournament to scount for players for their schools.  ‘We have some of players now schooling in category A and B schools like Tamale SHS, Wa SHS, Wa Islamic, Kumasi Islamic and Ghana Muslim Mission SHS among others’.

In addition to the exciting volleyball action, spectators can look forward to a festive atmosphere at the tournament, with music to be provided as always by Rock Sounds, food vendors, and other entertainment options available.

The event is sure to be a fun-filled weekend for all involved, whether as a participant, spectator, or volunteer.

As the only premier volleyball event in the region, the Bole District Juvenile Volleyball Gala is a highlight on the sporting calendar and attracts a large and enthusiastic crowd every three months.

With its 16th edition set to take place in Kilampobile, this tournament is expected to be bigger and better than ever before.

So all roads lead Kilampobile this Saturday and Sunday June 22 and 23, 2024.

Come out to support the talented young volleyball players in the Bole District . It promises to be a weekend of thrilling matches, exciting competition, and lasting memories for all involved.
