Jentige D/A primary school wins Chache electoral area inter schools football competition.

Jentige D/A primary school lifted the Chache electoral area inter Schools football competition on Thursday at the Jentige primary school park against Tinyekura D/A primary school.

The diadem didn’t come without a price though as they shrugged off threats from the Jentige D/A JHS and from the Chache D/ A primary school with a palace coupe from Tinyekura D/A primary school.

The final hurdle was perceived to be difficult but the gallant Jentige D/A primary school stood still, held their own and parried the threat of Tinyekura D/A primary school.

Jentige D/ A primary School won by three goals to nil to lift the elusive trophy against Tinyekura D/A primary school.

Jentige D/A primary school star player Seidu Mohammed opened the scoring sheet on the 50th minutes of the second department of the game,with Jujie Anfaayele doubling the lead on the 65th minutes and Saanumo Soribe sealed the game with a final goal on the 67th minutes to ensure that Jentige D/A primary school won the competition for the first time in their history of the electoral area.

Before winning the final game, Jentige Primary school defeated their fierce rivals Chache primary school by a lone goal while underated Tinyekura primary school beat Jentige JHS 3-2 on penalities.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, a lead sponsor of the competition, Pusher, of Pusher FC in Bole said the he was very excited with the high level of soccer artistry displayed by these young talents.

He further advised the pupils to always live with the values they have learnt in the course of the tournament. “Please ensure that as you prepare to be future champions, always know that team work, determination, respect, discipline and focus are the values that will help you on your journey to stardom, never abandon them”. He added. He further promised of future collaborations with the Assembly man for such competitions.

The winner, Jentige D/A primary school received a football and a box of puma drinks and the second runners and the rest all received boxes of puma drinks.

Assembly Member, Hon. Alim Kuusaari Ebong thanked Pusher and Amantanta Ice both from Bole for the support they rendered when he went to them for help to execute an initiative like this.

While Pusher supported with assorted drinks and the awards for the games, Amantanta Ice supported with Water the sufficed everything concern of Water during the games.

‘ It is always my pleasure to make positive moves that brings development in my area and these games today will bring a future effect we cannot underrate’, said by the assembly member.

The Assembly Member, said this is the starting and more competitions are ahead including a quiz contest which will happen before schools vacate in December, 2021.

He also congratulated the winning school and tasked all schools to prepare adequately for the upcoming quiz competitions.

The event was well attended by the chief of Jentige and the community elders of Jentige, PTA executives of the Jentige schools and teachers across the Chache Electoral Area.

Before the final game, the circuit supervisor of the Mandari circuit joined the event and thanked the Assembly Member of the Chache Electoral Area for the initiative and his continues support towards education in his electoral area.

‘Sports is a co-curricula activity that is encouraged by GES and has seen the need to organize such an activity, you have to take it seriously’, he said.

The circuit supervisor also highlighted the importance of sports as it develops the brain and make the body healthy.

The circuit supervisor lauded the efforts of Chache Electoral Area Assembly Member vision for education and urged all to support him especially parents to improve the standard of education in the area.
