As we go to the polls on 7th December, 2024 to elect the President of the Republic of Ghana and our Parliamentarians, the Gonjaland Youth Association is calling on all Ghanaians, especially the youth, to embrace peace, unity, and respect for one another.
The ability to peacefully choose our leaders through a fair and transparent process is most important element in our democratic system.
Lawyer Mohammed Amin made the call at the Central Committee meeting of the Gonjaland Youth Association held in Makuma on Saturday 30th November, 2024.
He called on all to reject violence, division, and the spread of misinformation and focus on fostering understanding, and peace as we engage in this important national event.
The Association is urging all political parties, candidates, and citizens to prioritize the well-being of our country over partisan interests and work together to ensure that, the elections are free, fair, and peaceful.
