Ghana scholarship Secretariat to Launch Online Scholarship Application in March.

As part of efforts to widen the educational scholarship net, Ghana’s Scholarship Secretariat is seeking to roll out an online scholarship scheme in March 2020.

This is where a number of applicants will be exposed to various scholarships online.

This was revealed by the District Chief Executive for Central Gonja, Hon. Mustapha Mahama, as he urges tertiary continuous and fresh students to visit the portal to submit their applications when launched.

He said applicants will be taken through an online aptitude test in other to qualify for the scholarship.

What it means is that any applicant will not have to write to the Secretariat again but you go online to apply.

And very soon the Secretariat will be announcing the online portals, Mr. Ibrahim Mahafuzu Sopporo, Media Liaison Officer to the DCE confirmed this to Yagbon News.

You go online, you register online which is going to ask for a lot of information from you which includes your academic transcripts, biodata, and other information.

One is invited for an interview at the District level after passing the aptitude test.

You will not be interviewed and selected when you fail the aptitude test, said the DCE.

The DCE indicated that the scholarship for the 2020/ 2021academic year shall experience an exponential increase in the number of beneficiaries as he urges all tertiary students in the District to access the portal when roll out to submit their applications to obtain the  scholarship.
